Same test for everyone

Daily Reaction Challenge

Every day at midnight, a new challenge, and here is the twist: the wait before each green is identical for everyone who plays today. No luck of the draw. Take your five shots, lock in your time, and keep your streak alive. Miss a day and the streak resets.

Why “same timing for everyone” matters

On a normal reaction test the wait before green is random, and that randomness quietly shapes your score. A short, snappy wait is easier to nail than a long one where your attention drifts. Across five tries it mostly evens out, but on any single run, luck is in the mix. The daily challenge takes luck off the table. Everyone today gets the identical sequence of waits, generated from the date, so the only variable left is you.

It also gives you a reason to come back. One run a day, a streak to protect, and a fair fight against everyone else playing. It is a small, honest competition with yourself and the clock. Get your baseline on the main test first, then bring it here.

A daily run is genuinely the most sustainable form of practice, but practice alone is not where the biggest gains live. Sleep, then warm-up, then repetition is the order that actually moves the number, and we ranked all of it against the research in how to improve your reaction time. Track whether it is working on the score checker.

Frequently asked questions

What makes the daily challenge fair?
The pause before each green is normally random, which means luck plays a part. The daily challenge fixes the timing for the whole day using the date as a seed, so everyone who plays today faces the exact same sequence. Your score is down to reflexes, not draw.
How does the streak work?
Finish the challenge and today counts. Come back and finish it the next day and your streak grows. Skip a day and it resets to one. Your streak and best are saved in your browser, so play on the same device to keep them.
Can I practise before my real attempt?
The daily score we keep is your run on this page, but you can warm up on the regular reaction time test as much as you like first. A couple of warm-up rounds genuinely helps.
